What exactly do i need to put turbo in my 1.8L Corolla, do i need to just put the trubo charger or do i need to also change my intake, exhaust system..etc?
dude theres really no point of eveen pulling an effort in installing a turbo in a slow car. It wont be as fast and you kill the efficancy of the car and its not made for it. But to answer your question probably do a headers and change the catback as well as intake and some induction parts maybe an MR2 turbo could fit
I think in his case he might be better off just selling his car and buying one with a turbo already installed such as a WRX. Hopefully, he won't hurt himself.
well even though he doesnt know it he may be half right. you would have to change the exhaust depending on how much boost it would be pushing out. i dont know what the stock exhaust diameter on a corolla is but on my 240sx, 2 inch was not enough and i had to replace with larger piping...3 inch. but that was only when my horsepower was going to exceed 315hp. and i doublt these engines could take that lol. otherwise for low boost applications stock diameter is fine.

Part of the exhaust needs to be changed no matter what. That's what I was getting at. The turbo has to be mounted somewhere along the exhaust system which would require exhaust modification. Same goes for the intake.
