Brake Caliper

Hey guys! Has anyone changed their Brake Caliper? If you have what brand of caliper have you went with and how is it? My caliper on the right side is making my brake to fade faster than the left side. That was the reason why my ebrake light was on. I see online only A1 Cardone, Beck/Arnley, and Raybestos. Is there any "performance" or should i say better than stock caliper? Also while I'm changing the caliper should I get some steel braided brake lines?

if 7th gen calipers are the same as 8th gen calipers then i have some freshly rebuilt dual piston calipers with brackets and performance pads for sale. $90+shipping or a good offer.

I had to change my caliper today. I was driving on the highway and the caliper seized up and I almost got into a car accident.

Did you have to send the old caliper back for a core charge or do you still have it. Sounds like the piston is jamming up on it, could be from contaminated brake fluid or dirt/dust making it way past the caliper seals.

Hopefully you flushed the old brake fluid while you have the caliper off - since you have to pull the brake line off. SS brake lines are a nice to have thing, but won't greatly improve braking with stock setup. It will help tale some "flex" out of the system (improve pedal feedback), but won't improve on line pressures to the caliper - those will remain unchanged, assuming you didn't have a problem previously.

How would you "flush" the old brake fluid out of the system? Yes, I think the piston was jamming up. The seal on the core was broken. I haven't bought the steal lines yet but when i do I think i'm going to change them myself and bleed my system with a friend.
