Sounds like you've burned up the motor on the inside.
Once you see that oil lamp light come one - STOP the car and address the issue. Almost all cars have that oil lamp come on at very low oil pressure levels. Once you see it come on, the engine has already lost a considerable amount of oil or has a serious malfunction with the lubrication system. Motor oil is the "life blood" of the car, so to speak - critical to engine cooling, lubrication, proper operation, etc. - the car will not run without a good, clean supply of oil.
Only options now is to see how bad the damage really is - at the minimum, you're probably looking at a rebuild. Could even be looking at an engine swap, depending on the extent of the damage.
Let me get this straight. Even after you burned through all that oil during the trip from Virginia to Florida, you managed to miss a scheduled oil change by more than 2000+ miles and now "complaining/concerned" that the engine is still consuming motor oil after the fact? I'm with huangxin - you've been really hard on the engine. Only thing you can do at this point is to monitor the engine oil levels constantly. Given the rate that the oil is being consumed, you should really check the oil levels before you even crank the engine over.
Also Don't Capitalize Every Word You Write And Make Use Of Punctutation Because It Makes It Very Difficult To Read Your Post.
