I am about to buy a 2000 Corolla VE from my sister, who bought the car new in late 1999. I found the following quote on Wikipedia... "" The VE model was available in a 3 speed automatic or the 5 speed manual transmission."" Anyone know if all of the VE models come with a 3 speed transmission?

The OEM default was a 3-speed automatic transaxle for that trim level.
