Hi,

I am using Corolla 1998. I notice that every time i turn the car on its starter sound more louder than my sister's car which is Camry 1997.

Could you please advise if this is the original design by the manufacture? Or my car's engine starter has problems itself?

Honestly it's hard to say without hearing it. If the car starts up totally normally you probably don't have an issue. Does it start up easily?

Yes, the car start up totally normal. Since i am new user and that car is the second hand one, so i am afraid of something wrong with that.

I heard people say the egine starter for Corolla 98 would sound noisier compare to the link of Camry 97 or 98....

I am curious if this is the originally design by the manufacture?

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. I'm sure they didn't intentionally engineer the car to have a noisier starter than a Camry, but I doubt it's an issue.
