I am installing a alarm system and i was wndering if anyone could tell me where at in the engine bay they installed thers?

The pros would install the alarm brain near the dashboard, in the area behind the fuse panel that is behind the driver side coin drawer. They then poke a hole through firewall (to run wires through) and mount the siren near where the brake master cylinder is. They do not put the alarm brain in engine bay because that thing is not weatherproof 99.9% of the time.

i know where to install it and stuff sorry i didnt stress what part of the alarm, i meant the siren! my friends is in the little area of the engine bay right in front of the driver side, but i have a large open gap on the passenger side. which is where i will most likely mount it(plus theres a screw hole where the wheel well curves out!)
