Cold-Air Intake System

So I found this site while searching google and it has a guy claiming to be an engineer who has been experimenting with different setups.

I'm interested in his last setup that has the intake poking out from under the car.


My question is where can I find mandrel bent piping like his? Advance? This is what he used.

2.25" mandrel bent pipe
4 black pipe clamps
grommets for sensors

Also, how difficult would setup be? It looks like he removed the snorkel and battery. Not sure what else.

sounds like a pain in the ass. there's plenty of intakes out there where i dont have to relocate the battery to the trunk and worry about the intake sucking up water anytime it rains hard. it looks like that muffler pipe they sell at pep-boys
