Hey guys how's it going? obviously not that great for me! I found out today what was causing my car to sound like it had an exhaust leak. Pictures will be uploaded in a few to show you what happened.

well what im guessing what happened was ... header cracked a little causing exhaust leak ... today was the final straw the header had and completely cracked in half.

And that is why I always warn people to never buy ANYTHING made by OBX.

Well you live and you learn. I saw the one made by PPE. That one looks kinda sturdy. The cost of it is 500$ though ..

Agreed. That's kinda steep for a 5 hp gain.

So . I moved on .. that company OBX is not great products at all. I decided to go with MimoUSA header. I wanted to find a DC Sports header but they discontinued it. I had a choice between MimoUSA and PPE Engineering. MimoUSA = 300$ AND PPE = $500+. So i decided on the mimoUSA one and see how that one is.

so i looked at the mimousa one.. it looks like the one i have now. which mine broke at the welds, not due to it being a pos, but due to excessive engine movement. since i have a mig welder, and weld stainless often, i just rewelded it, and then bought some poly urethane from mcmaster and poly urethane'd my motor mounts. no more problems. but from what i can tell it looks to be a good header.

how much you got your header for? So the header broke due to engine movement?

just port the stock part and get it ceramic coated. all the longevity of OEM manifold with the same performance as those crap aftermarket ones. PPE costs alot because they actually do research into what they build.
