ok 2 questions
1. can anybody find some commercials for our car (if so post links)
B. wasn't the 8th gen's tag line "the new 199x (200x) Corolla, because, its not where you're going, it's how you get there" or am i just crazy?
this has been bugging me for a while because the guys in my class think i'm nuts.

Not sure of that particular phrase, it sort of rings a bell, but I don't believe it was with the Corolla. Back then, there was a Toyota campaign to push the "Every Day" phrase around 1999-2000.

One spot for the Corolla, an entire city goes black after a power failure at the millennium, but the reliable Corolla is unaffected and drives away. Onscreen text reads "Always there. Every day".

Another spot for the Corolla, CGI animation of ants crossing the road to highlight the car's new VVTi engine. Tagline reads "Charging ahead. Every day".

Haven't run across any past videos - if I do, I'll post up the links as soon as I find them.
