there has to be a positive for the door lock and unlock, what you do is take your test light and probe each wire leading to the door until it triggers an unlock or lock of your door. that wire will be your pos

Does your wire sense if the door is locked (input) or used to trigger the car's power door locks (output)?

i have an alarm in my 98 corolla, i could go and tell you the colors of the wires that are used for the lock, unlock.

you do have power locks on your car right?

In my toyota pickup i dont have Air.Conditioning. but when i looked at the harness, there was already a fuse and all the wires needed to install AC already there.
what im saying is, you may have the wires set up for power locks but no actual power locks(the motors)
you just probed the wires and nothing happened, which doesnt make sense, if you hook your test light to a good ground then probe the wires you SHOULD then give power to lock/unlock by making the connection.
i dont think the alarm company is going to help you very much, the alarms are for every and any vehicle. all you can do is test light.

i just went out a checked, the Unlock wire color is GREEN with WHITE stripe and Lock is BLUE with BLACK stripe hook a ground up to those and your locks should pop up and down

I dont know i think there could be only negative showing because i have an aftermarket alarm and the doors only unlock they do not lock, this could just be some stupid feature or saftey device but this could be why also

yup those are the positive wires for lock and unlock, hook a ground up to them, it will pop up and down on your locks, the only reason it wouldnt would be if you dont have power locks.
