Canada Corolla Horn?

I saw two Fiamm replacement horns, one is High Tone & one is Low Tone.

Which one would sound closest to 2001 Corolla stock horn?

Mine sounds a little tired.

i'd go for the low tone personally, the stock horn is probably right in the middle.

Im about to order the freeway blaster low tone. Either do the low tone or both. You can hear sound clips on youtube. Actually there are only two I think. But they give you a good idea.

Install a pair of Bosch Europa horns (using an automotive relay). They have a deeper combined tone than the Hella Supertones, and so have a more commanding "voice" at ~115 decibels.

(Above: Two-tone Bosch Europa horns compared with the OEM horn.)

I had to import mine from the Phillipines via this eBay listing (Sanny Sarcia).

The horns themselves were $50, but shipping was $30, so about $80. Shipping took about 3 weeks.

Figure maybe another $30 in 10/12AWG wiring, the Bosch automotive relay and harness, connectors, and inline fuse to the battery.

Can anyone here tell me what decibel the stock corolla horn is? Around 95 or so?

I found a 115 decibel wolo european style(bmw, mercedes ect) dual tone horn for around $16 w/ s&h and would like to try it if anyone can confirm that it would be louder than stock. Almost got ran into yesterday by an idiot pulling into my lane while driving right next to me and the weak horn got no reaction from them as if I never honked at all so it's time to get something louder.

I also found a 135 decibel dual air horn set for $10 but the setup would be more trouble than the wolo and it could likely be so loud it could actually cause an accident so I'm mainly interested in the wolo.

how many amps do those draw? i had to run relays and all for the nautilus, but never for a horn like that.

I've got video including what the horns sound like, along with photos of the whole installation process. I've just been lazy about posting them into the original thread. I'll see if I can get to it tonight.
