I'm not running those bulbs, but according to their specs, they are not that much wider than the OEM bulbs. Still, some headlamp assemblies have a diffuser ring (generally on fogs, but sometimes on haedlamps) - that might touch the bulb. The diffuser will take the heat, but the bulb won't. Some have mentioned that the bulbs tend to have a short lifespan (6 months to a year) - though not sure if that is still the case now.
