Have to experiment with different SRI - if the one your friend has is one you like, get that one then. The location of the piping, direction, and type of filter element they use will all influence the tone of the intake.

As for 2-step or launch control - MSD ignition systems has one, lots of EMS systems also support LC or 2-step. I'm hoping your have a boosted application - running this on a N/A app will not significantly improve launches.

dont forget engine size, piping size, and the design of our intake manifold also come into factor of the sound of a SRI in the corolla. my intake note changed dramatically when i went to the 7th gen tb and manifold. got much deeper and crisper throttle response too with more top end.

trust me, once you have driven a car with 2 step or anti lag you wont want to do it so often. for the first week you will do it every now and then. then the humor fades.

and i just rofl'd at the video. but if you must put up a video, at least put up one with some good 2 stepping!

oh you would, when you replace your turbo every so often because you put undue stress on the bearings and turbine blades when you anti lag. yeah its cool and great for drag racing, but damages your turbo. you are creating combustion in between your turbo and engine, inside a manifold and turbine housing that were never designed for it. they will fail. this is why i say you will get tired of it. esp the first time it trashes a 1000$ turbo and a 600$ manifold. you will be tired of it. but other than that i like it.
