99 header question

What's up guys. I have a friend with a 99 1zzfe 1.8L corolla. He was wondering where he can find some headers other than the ones on ebay. Or if the headers for another corolla will fit. We can't seem to find any made for a 99. We were thinking about getting ones made for a 2000 corolla but since it has vvti does it matter? Thanks in advance

Upgrading to turbo soon. The guy who is doing it said ebay headers are no good for turbo. And they have to be aftermarket.. Have not came across of aftermarket headers for a 99

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to turbo a corolla? I just don't understand why people want to hop up corollas cause they only start out with about 130 hp.

bc instead of buying a car with stock turbo id rather build one. id feel better knowing i put time, hard work and money into my own car than one thats stock. find a couple of users with turbo and ask them that same question.

Oh well ya building a turbo is definitely better than just using a stock one. But why a corolla. Wouldn't you rather get a civic si or an integra gsr or something that has a stock hp of around 190 hp? haha

what? why would I want a Me Too. -_- too common.

First Guy: hey what kind of car do you have?
Second Guy: I drive a Civic.
First Guy: What? Me Too.

Get the joke? How many people can say they drive a turbo corolla? Not many IMO. So I rather be unique than have a Me Too.

I'm locking this to prevent any further flaming.

If anyone else has an answer, please PM the OP. Thanks.
