USA Intermittment wipers

I owe a 2002 Toy. Corolla CE. Recently I just added fog lamps. I purchased a new fog lamp switch and just added it to the column to get the factory look. Now I am wondering if I can do that with the wiper switch to get intermittment wipers. I found a part a rock auto (airtex part 1S3334). It seems the wiper motors are all the same for the corolla. Can I just plug and play like the fog lamps.

Long time lurker, first time posting.

I upgraded my brother's 2000 Corolla VE to intermittent wipers by swapping out the wiper stalk switch on the steering column. All of the necessary electronics for intermittent appear to be installed on the switch, so it was a simple plug and play upgrade for his car, and it should be for yours as well. Good luck!

May I suggest checking with RockAuto as to the correct fitment on the variable wiper switch. The AIRTEX is listed at $149.79 vs ACDELCO D1919E(#88974274) at $43.79 for our 2008 CE. I may be wrong as we do have different model years but there may be some $aving$ here 4 U. I could not compare photos between the 2 switches as there was none for the ACDELCO.

Apologies, ACDELCO D1919E was for my CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH. Correct TOYOTA #84652-02310, variable wiper switch at $112.27 from:http://www.toyotapart.com. RockAuto did not have my switch when I ordered back in June.
