I like these. I have never seen them on a car. Although i think the would only look good on darker color cars...

New injector O-Rings, new intake manifold gasket, Tinted tail lights, tinted corner lights, Purple 8500K H4 bulbs, JDM Black headlight housing, Weapon-R CAI.
i wouldnt put them on. I had black housing tail-lights (same as Salty Dogs) on my car for 2 years. then i just did a red-out on my OEM ones, put them back in and i liked it better. but its your car, do whatever u feel looks best!

yeah, mine too. the amber is starting to come through the paint. its not peeling on mine, just fading away. i might have to redo the tail-lights soon. What i wanna do is partially red out the center of the reverse lights and leave just a thin ring of the white lens showing through. but its a PIA...
I wont black mine out, itd be wayyy to much back on the car.

i completely neglected to spray clear coat over the tail-lights after I did them thinking it wasnt necessary... When i redo them, ill make sure to spray some on.

That was most likely the problem. I have noticed though, right around the very edge, I can see it coming off. But that might be where the tape was, so it seems the clear coat really helps make it stay.
Hey Cleverguy that's actually exactly what I did! LOL
At first I took off the outer light from the car, and sprayed the whole thing. When I put it back on, it was a slightly different red than the one with the back up light. So I taped off the reverse lights, and sprayed that one too. I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
Well if you've been around a while, you'll see a bunch of threads about engine swaps, and they all got kinda repetitive after a while. So they close them down if it doesn't lead anywhere. To answer your "for two", he has the right because if you look by his name, it shows he's a moderator. So he has some control over what goes on in this board. That in a way also answers "three".
As for your lights, I would put a pretty dark smoke on everything except the reverse lights, and only do a light smoke over those. That's only because leaving something un-smoked gives it a little more character, in my opinion. Also, what color is your car gonna be, once it's out of the shop?
Um, yeah I would be careful about what you send to a mod on here. Hell, it doesn't even have to be directed to them in a message. They aren't too strict on here, but that doesn't mean you should f*ck up your chances of being a long time member of this place just because someone closed a thread you were actually participating in. If you're gonna message him, try to stay cool, you know?
Oh, and I hate the color of my car... It's the rarest I've ever seen this car in, and I'm pretty sure it's for a good reason. Hopefully you can get some pics up soon.
