i want a nice rippin sound for my corolla, i dont want that fart can sound tho!, how can i do this?
run with no muffler. its a 10:1 compression engine. they have a much quieter exhaust note than a lower compression engine. if your up to it, delete the resonator, and go to a larger high flow cat and 2.25 piping. i have no muffler, or cat right now, and it sounds great. im also on stock piping and resonator. but i do want something different cus its been like this for a year.
but the engine design isnt very great because the engines dont last very long... 100,000 km sounds like a damn lawnmower and has so many problems, i want to go all out on my rolla, getting it an engine out of a toyota awd and all running gear, to make it true AWD and lots of power but it will be toyota so you know it will last a lifetime
well, SOME properly maintained subaru may last just as long as a toyota. ask a qualified mechanic thats been in the business for 20+years, ive seen plenty of subarus thats are just crap!, even one recently with a turbo, the cat weld broke and now the car wont even run its messed up, and now the owner is pissed!
Sweet video. I think just about any car should last a lifetime if taken care of properly. Ive heard magnaflows sound really good on Camrys. I dont know how good they will sound on rollas but they should be comparable. Try looking on youtube for Carollas with magnaflows or other types of exhaust. Check out this one.

subaru's get modified more than corollas do, people tend to do a shitty job because they're cheap and only make things last a little while, thus more broken subarus.
