No just what people think about them performance wise. I talked with their rep today, and they are actually pretty good, or so he put it. I'm just curious about everyday use. Also, whether or not to get the GT Pro or the Kontrol Pros. They are pretty affordable either way...
I've heard from friends of shock dampening being so poorly matched that sets in the same box couldn't be matched even full stiff to full soft. Unsure of how true this is, but something to look in to.
I know it would be good to ride in a car with coil overs, but I really don't have access to that...
The main reason why I want to upgrade though is because since the car has decent engine, the only way to get "faster" is to increase the handling. I know the ride will be stiffer, in fact a lot stiffer, but that is why I was inquiring about it.
As far as the unmatched dampening, I have heard this too from a Ford forum. Im currently sending Ksport and email on this....ill let you guys know what I find out from them...

Obviously they won't admit that they're product is flawed and of poor quality!

You are right... I do have some more questions though. Now, my budget is about 1300...I am going to school so I have one shot with this suspension decision.
Should I do coilovers? Or should I do the Koni yellows and springs.
CO
Pros: Best suspension upgrade
Cons: Expensive, Weak warranty, mixed reviews
Shocks and Springs
Pros: Very good warranty with Koni, Still is pretty good handling
Cons: Total spent comes within 150 dollars of coilovers, not as tight as coilovers
I mean I am really at this crossroads. I can see where I would buy shock springs because the springs will last really for a long time, and the shock warranty is for life.
On the other hand the COs are the best suspension upgrade, and have pretty decent springs and struts, and yet there is no certain life span...

HELP!!! WHAT DO YOU GUYS RIDE ON???
you do know there are other and better coilover companys than ksport. and that do make products for our cars. rollatuner110 used nex coilovers if i remember correcly. there less than the ksports. i would check out the corolla faq sticky and look at all the brands/prices.
also isc makes coilovers for our car too. well... 7th gen. but they fit none the less. they dont look bad, and give you your choice in spring rate too.

Ground Controls+Koni Yellows.
It would offer the best of both worlds IMO. Height adjustability with everyday ride comfort.
And if you want to track your car, they'll provide handling that will outperform all spring and shock combos out there.

Tein (FLEX w/ EDFC's front and rear) and JIC (FLT-A2).
They both have facilities here in North America, so if they blow out, you can send them in for servicing. They have very quick turnaround times and prices are reasonable.

That would depend on the condition of your OEM components. Most of which is just a straight swap, but if you've got high miles on them. I would recommend that you get new strut mounts and bump stops.

Ride height is determined by the spring compression? Or how does that work?
ride height would be determined by the spring pearch height on the gc/koni setup. last i checked, the price of koni were 140 something each. someone correct me if im wrong. the ground control kit is 350ish iirc
I rode on Minesh's AE92 with the Ksport coilovers on it when he first got them, the ride was nice and firm, a lot better than my OEM Strut/APEX spring setup, then again I need better struts.
