I'll start off by saying that my 99 Corolla is riding on all the original suspension... It now has around 74K miles on it. I bought the car last December, and it had 54K miles on it. For the last couple months or so, I noticed every time I go over a speed bump, the front end creaks really bad, I think it's the springs? I really don't know much about suspension, so I'm not sure. But considering how many miles are on my car, I'm sure it's past due for a replacement. Another thing that I have noticed in the past week. Whenever I turn the wheel to the left, like when I go to park somewhere, there is like a grinding noise... well not really grinding, it's hard to describe. But my guess is that it is just some other part I need replaced. When I get all of this repalced, I do want to lower my car in the process. So what do you guys think is the source of these strange noises, and what are some good parts to replace them with, to lower my car also? I know I didn't do a good job of describing the noises, so I'm gonna go out and try to make a video of them while I'm driving.
You should check the condition of the front sway bar bushings. Dried or cracking rubber may be causing them to squeak. Visually inspect the shocks for any leaking that may occur, if the car bounces a lot or bottoms out on large potholes or rough pavement, then your shocks may be blown. Recommended suspension components depends a lot on your budget and how much you want to lower your car by.

Ok, I'll look at that, I guess I better start learning about all this stuff hahah
I was thinking about a couple inches, not too much though. And the budget thing will depend on how much I get for my taxes this year.
Sounds to me like the bushings are dry.... try spraying some silicone lube or Jigaloo on them and see if the problem goes away. If it does, then I would replace the bushings for the front sway bar entirely. Shouldn't cost more than a couple dollars each from a dealer.

Bushings? Where do I locate those? sorry for bein dumb lol
Some guys at TRDForums thought maybe it's the 3 strut nuts on the front, I'm gonna go see if they're loose.
Yeah, that definitely sounds like a bushing problem. It's likely caused by the rubbed being too old, so it dries and cracks and causes that squeaking sound. I would replace the ones on the rear sway bar too (2 on the front and 2 on the rear). Get yourself a high quality synthetic grease (like Mobil 1) and lube them well before installing them. It should cure the problem.

Thats the SAME EXACT sound I have!!!! Thanks for the video!!
Mine only happened after I put in the hotchkiss sway bar kit, and those were new bushings. I lubed the hell outta that thing though, so im not sure why it makes that sound. Ill jsut ask the mechainc to lube em up good next time its in for what ever nonsense.
Oh thank you, someone else has it too! lol. Thanks to you PhatRoyale, as you have been much help from the very beginning At least I know what it is, so I can go to AutoZone tomorrow and pick some up... along with that manual. And I think I need a new battery, mine is pretty old, it has this white crap coming out the top and getting all crusty, and now that the weather is cold, when I start my car in the 30 degree weather, it takes a while to turn over.
Just my two cents.
Do these noises happen when you turn the wheel with the car sitting still or just when rolling?
The noise you describe when turning could be a CV joint.
Check that your CV boots are in good shape.
