Rock Auto Ambient Temp Sensor

hi guys! have instaled the ambient temp sensor on mi 2001 ,that rock auto sells airtex brand and now it shows a -22 reading steady wont change or vary... any help?

Did youmake sure the connection is good? Are both connections clean? I had a problem after after I installed mine, but I just had to make sure the sensor was in the socket good. It was slipping so I just put like a zip tie to hold it in tight.

hi.. yap! contacts are clean,cleaned with electronic cleaner,,sensor fits tight.

really dont know whats going on.. also the temp scale always be farenheit?

Did you try disconnecting the battery for a few seconds then reconnect it? To let the computer reset. And I don't think you can change it from farehheit, I'm not sure though.
