'01 Glove box removal. Need help!

Ok was tryin to remove my glovebox to disable my DRL relay and i cant figure out how to get to the 10 mm. bolt on the right side near the passenger door.

i can see it but the kick plate is blocking it and cant seem to remove it easily and i really dont wanna break anything.

please help.

Look at the kick plate. There should be a black plastic nut you have to unscrew (it's tricky, but it'll come out). Then you have to lift up the forward end of the scuff plate/running board - pry it up with your hand. Then it will come out.

ok thanks so
1. unscrew plastic nut thingy and pop the plate off the bolt.
2. then lift up on the end where the plastic nut screwed on and sorta pull back towards me at the same time

that about right??...i messed with it alot today and it looked kinda like i was gonna have to remove the plastic runner along the bottom of the door jam, glad its just as simple as me not pulling hard enough ha.
