Best to get under the car and just take a peek. Anywhere there is a leak - you should see some carbon/exhaust discoloration from where the leak is. Sometimes, can be tough to track - might need to go with a smoke tester (one that reads exhaust gas).
Hit the unions between piping, welds, clamps, and any recent mods done to the car (flex pipe on header setups for example).
