wiring diagram in PDF format?

The fuse that the fuel pump goes through keeps blowing.

I got a friend to replace the fuel pump itself, thinking it might be shorting somehow, but it did not help.

So I'm trying to figure out what else runs off that fuse.

I have been searching here for about an hour and have found a few links to wiring diagrams in PDF format, but all the links are broken. :-( (really old threads)

I don't like asking what is surely a frequently asked question, so instead I'm asking if someone could help me find the elusive thread I'm looking for with a link to a wiring diagram in PDF format?

If you go to Autozone.com and register, they have the wiring diagrams. They are not in pdf though.

i find the best thing to do when comes to wiring is to follow the wiries from the fuel pump and look for sharp bends, tied to tight, chaffing... also since you know where the relay is find the wire that powers the pump and check resistance on all wires.check the plug for any bit of corrosion...

Ok thanks. This is a little beyond my abilities but I will pass your suggestions along to my mechanic friend.

Is it possible that the fuel pump itself could be blowing the fuse?

I have seen large electric motors go bad and blow fuses. Is it possible that a faulty fuel pump could blow a fuse? Or is it more likely a short somewhere...

Us Canadians just have to go to the underground for useful stuff like diagrams in PDF because Toyota forgot about us.

Check EFI, AM2 and IGN fuses. IGN covers coil side of EFI relay; EFI fuse covers its load side, which is upstream of C/OPN relay. IGN goes through ignition key, which is covered by AM2. Finding out which fuse blew gives you an idea where the short might be at.
