yeah i can. heres a link to newcelica.org. this is the c60 rebuild guide on there. it should help.

http://www.newcelica.org/forums/showthread.php?t=283040

edit: pics are not working on that site.

you have to start with the small end of the case and dissassemble 5th and 6th to get the case to come off the input/output shafts. you will need a bearing/gear puller. and a press to put them back on. its a pita to do if you have not done this before.

thanks loads of info on the site
all them gears to be taken off just to change bell housing, the 5 speed is easy just to disconnect reverse gear in the gap when bolts are off

They also recommend to start at the small end of the case and work down for the 5-speed as well, dictated in the FSM. I guess they tightened up that gap in the 6-speed for one reason or another. Good link Milky, I just picked up a 6-speed that will need to be rebuilt - that link will come in handy.

wow. i just got a spare c60 so i can drop a lsd into it. i plan on tearing it down and replacing anything that looks overly worn. i will be taking pics the entire time.

what year and model did your c60 come out of?

well it really depends on what all is needed. you did mention the bellhousing needing to be changed, so im assuming that it is damaged? i know those are about 600-800$ depending on area and dealership and what not. sometimes it would be cheaper to source out a newer or brand new transmission. so its all depending on the parts avaibility and price. i know when i rebuilt my 4age for an older corolla, i had to have the bearings ordered from japan. at 11 bucks a rod bearing and like 15 a main, it adds up, then add in shipping. so things can add up pretty quickly.
