Hi,
I have corolla 1999 1zfe engine 1.8l 3 speed automatic transmission.In low idle have that sucking noise in the air box( filter box).I trace that noise and get to the hole in the throttle body, if I cover little bit that hole the noise is gone.I took apart that ISC valve control clean it put it back but still the same. My car have 109 000 miles and like to eat oil, I just want to know if that problem is not oil consumption related.Is that ISC got bad?I've changed PCV valve as well but no improvement.

last night I got that Idle Speed Control Valve partial apart , disconect black conector part ( electro-magnet ) so I could rotate valve with my fingers while engine still run.The noise was gone, anyway I couldn't find position of the valve to get noise again but was back after connecting electromagnet.
Is this ISC fail or got wrong information ECM, RALAY .Is there a way to makesure that is falty ISC , bucause that part cost over 200.00
