5 speed manual rebuild

I have an 02 Corolla, standard model, with a manual 5 speed tranny. Can anyone tell me if the factory repair manual shows you how to do it, along with factory tolerances, etc? Is it a hard job to do? Any advice would be great. It needs some new bearings, etc.

Yes the factory manual covers the teardown and rebuild. Someone also posted a walkthrough of such a rebuild. Tools and press are the major hefty investment there. It is a lot of work but it's said to be worth it (not my word tho).
