02 Sensor - Delete or Trick?

I recently got the P0420 CEL, so most likely its either the cat or downstream 02 sensor. Is there a way to delete or trick the downstream 02 sensor? I'm pretty sure the only reason for this 02 is to monitor the cat.

I would like to do this and simply gut the cat. We don't have emissions testing here in KY.

Thanks for the link. Definately seems like the best option to skip all the BS. Have you done this to your car? Notice any difference?

What other mods have you done? Just in case I need to see how its done in person.

i bought all the stuff to do it, but have not done it. ive just been busy with other things.

as far as my car goes its pretty plain jane. LOL
c60 6spd swap, header, intake, gutted cat, batt relocation, celica gt intake manifold and tb, ralco underdrive kit, oil cooler and filter relocation kit.

theres prolly more. im redoing my 6spd swap here in a few weeks, due to a bad trans in the car now. its got bad synchros and i believe a bad bearing starting, but i have the other trans all ready, just waiting on a few parts.. lsd, clutch, mwr flywheel... to name a few. but off to work i go.

Oh thats nothing compared to my drop in K&N.

After reading through that thread I'm guessing that the wiring for the 02 should be the same as the celica.

you could also just get a pack of sparkplug defoulers from autozone for about 5 bucks as well and drill through one.
