I wanted to ask if a plug from a 93 honda civic fits the 01 corolla because i see the number 11 on the plug which is 1.1 or .044 or something correct?
And the part number is bkr6eix-11

Plugs are pretty cheap. Even if it fits, I wouldnt use a used plug myself.

According to one cross reference I googled up - that plug will not work in the Corolla.

I'm with Crowbar, just get the right ones for your car - even if they were offered for free, just because they have the same plug gap and make - the plug reach, treads, and plug seat may not be compatible with the Corolla, plug might be too thin, too thick, won't fit in coil in plug, etc.

The appropriate plug for the Corolla is NGK BKR5EIX-11

bkr6eix is a step colder if i remember correctly, which would lead to fouling out sooner by the plug not reaching optimum cleaning temperature. it would be a good plug if you were turbo, or had a little bit of nitrous, but on a stock 1zz it would cause more headache than what its worth.

On the 1zz 8th gen you need this type

K16TR11

You need the double side , NOT platnium just the regular Denso's or what ever you match up with the number above dont have anyone tell you that you need this or that look in your owners manual and you will see this number
