Brake Light

I own a 2000 VE and every once in a while, the red BRAKE light on the cluster comes on. I checked the power steering fluid, and the brake fluid and everything is OK there. What else could it be?

the red brake light is for the Ebrake being engaged, Is it loose, or do you keep your phone under it like my pops, the cable is probably just loose.

You could try slightly moving the parking brake lever and see if the light flickers when doing so.

see if it is up a little bit or anything like that, my dads got so loose in his civic that it would be released but the lever had no tension so it will stay up just enough to trigger the sensor
