lower dash removal

Can anyone help tell me hopw to remove the lower dash (if that is what it is called) the part UNER the stereo where all the a/c knobs are and the storage compartment.i've recently been trying to completely mod my roll, i put lambo doors on it and hid's. i've succesfully changed my liscense plate, background lights in dash, trunk light, and dome light to blue. I want to finish by making the a/c knob underglow, and the cig lighter ring light all blue. And pictures would be greatly appreciated. thank you in advance.

lol you can put lambo doors on a car but can't take a trim peice off lol just jokin wit ya

sorry i dont have any pics but just open the storage bin pull out with both hands on the middle peice right above the bin that should unclip the top two clips

then take your ash tray out and pull on the hole that you just created that will take care of the bottom left clip then you should be able to just pull out and the whole thing will come out

If you just want to change the lights, you don't need to remove the entire thing. First, remove your ashtray. Then pull out on the trim around where it was. You can pull it out just enough to change the ashtray light (use part #74) and the cigarette lighter ring light. For that one, you'll need to use a universal light and wire it in. Reinstallation is reversal.

For the AC and heat control lights you'll need to remove your stereo. Either 2 or 4 screws. The bulbs are directly below, two #74. The green light on the AC that only lights when the button is depressed, is soldered in. Good luck.
