Can you guys "feel the road" through the steering wheel or is something wrong?

I just bought a 01 Corolla and just had new tires put on. The car I was driving before had brand new tires as well and the ride was smooth as glass, no vibration or road feel through the body or steering wheel. Well, I noticed that I either have a slight, tiny vibration still that I can feel through my wheel and at the body around the pedals where I rest my left foot. I don't think but I can't tell if it's a tire issue, I imagine the wheels were balanced correctly and the tire pressure is good. I know my struts are shot, would that cause a "road feel" or is this a common thing with these Corolla? The car has 190k miles and it looks like everything is still original FYI. Thanks.

I know it's not going to ride perfect but considering my previous car with new tires was an Escort and the ride was completely smooth, I figured that something was wrong because a Ford Escort is the bottom of the barrel. I wasn't sure if struts would affect the car at highway speeds with a slight vibration.

Sounds like it's time to replace some suspension components, namely struts. 190K is well overdue.

Most likely the tires need to be rebalanced and/or your wheels are bent. When they are rebalancing the tires, ask them to check to see if any of the wheels are bent at the same time.
My 1999 Prizm rides smooth as glass since I bought 4 new Toyo Tires and had two bent wheels replaced. The first time, the tire shop used a balancer that was out of calibration and I had to take them back a second time so they could get it right.

Update, jacked the front up, grabbed each tire at 3 and 9 o'clock and the right side tire can be moved with my fingers. There's definitely some play in that wheel bearing.

Side to side movement also tends to be caused by a worn inner or outer tie rod.

FYI, it ended up being the inner tie rod on the right side. I managed to replace the passenger side w/o the special tool, the drivers side looks like it will be a little tougher with less clearance to get a wrench on there.
