should. if not use a screwdriver to pry it off. the oil pan is steel, the washer is Dead Soft Aluminum; you'll ruin the washer before you ruin the pan. if you do happen to ruin the drain plug gasket you can get a new one for CHEAP at ANY parts house.

oh and btw the drain plug washer sticking to the pan indicates that its doing its job
