New Problem or on-going??? PLEASE,its driving me nuts.

Tried the Higher Octane gas, plus added an octane boost to a full tank of gas.
Bogging still occurs.
It happens periodically AFTER the Overdrive gear kicks in then the "check engine" light starts blinking...so I shut off the Overdrive and the "check engine" light stops blinking after a minute of two.

I come to a complete stop, at a light and I have to put car in Neutral just to keep the idle steady, if not the bogging begins.

HELP PLEASE!!!

Having the "Check Engine" codes read would help us out too.

get the CEL read (or read it yourself, there's always a way) chances are it's not the motor, it's the transmission that's the problem.

A flashing check engine light usually indicates an engine misfire code.
