'00 celica transferable parts to '02 corolla

So my sister just wrecked her 2000 celica and I was wondering the parts I can swap out to my 2002 corolla. I was thinking the struts, springs, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, and the ecu. Just wondering about compatibility.

Thanks guys

if there both autos, or both 5spds, then swap the engine, trans, ecu, wire harness (celica ecu has different plugs), axles, steering wheel (get a new air bag), front seats but you will have to modifiy to fit.

the suspension is completly different. leave it alone. if its a gts then take the wheels, hubs, brakes, rotors and all so you could swap to 5 lug on the corolla and have a nice brake setup with some nice wheels. if its not a gts, dont bother with the brakes/5lug setup.

Sorry forgot to say its a GT 4 spd Auto. Heres the damage, luckily the engine is on the other side lol.

I swapped out the ECU right into my corolla no problems, except size, and its acting crazy lol. I wont go into reverse until it hits 2200rpms, and when its in drive itll only go grandma slow or pedal to the floor fast. And once I get into 4th and floor it, the car wont downshift to go faster...it just sits in 4th and goes really slow. Do I need to swap the transmission or get the wire harness out and set it up to stop it from being so erratic? And if anyone has a guide for how to do the wire harness that would be great.

Another quick question is will the stock corolla engine be able to handle the 6800 rpm rev limit rather than the 6000 it had before?

I only have this weekend to do all this work before the junkers come to pick it up

just swap the whole drivetrain from the celica. the 1zz's in the celicas had better pistons, lighter cast rods, bigger valves. infact just strip everything out of the celica and part out what you dont want on here and on newcelica.org

the stock corolla engine will handle 6800 rpm without any problem. the corolla bottom end has stronger forged rods, but they are heavier.

yeah, that steering wheel is nice, and fits no problem! Really makes the interior better imo.

Is the airbag damaged?
