need help

so recently after i put in my custom COI and exhaust, my car started running high rpm's at idle. and when i let go of the brake in drive, it picks up quite a bit more acceleration. i have had both the exhaust and coi on for about a month and it was fine, i used to work on carbuerated engines, and it seems like the fuel air ratio is too rich with fuel. how do i decrease the amount of fuel coming in, sorry, i don't know how its done cause i havnt messed with fuel injectors. only carb's. thanks in advance.
