Side Markers on Corolla

Hey i have just install some new side markers onto my 01 corolla le...anf finished all the wirings and stuff to make it blink and all.I was pretty simple and easy.

Anyways...i wanted to ask if anyone knows how to wire it another way so that the side markers would blink the same time as the corner lights.

Mine goes like this...my corner blinks first and then my side markers blinks second...on and on etc. and not blinking at the same time.It only blinks at the same time when your lights are not on and they can blink together but when ur lights are on...it blinks differently.

I wired it like this...from the power of the sidemarker which is in solid green to the wire gren w/ black stripe on the corner light and the ground wire in black from the sidemarker to the green w/ blackstripe on the corner light.and its done.I know there are other optional wiring but this is the only wiring to make it turn on with the lights and blink too.

So is there anyway to help make it blink at the same time when the lights are on?

I hope i explained clearly and thanks. ( Don't worry, i'll post some pics of it.)

Yeah, if you take the wire off of the parking light wire and wire it to the ground wire, then it will blink like a normal signal all the time, and not be on constantly at night.

Forgot to mention that i did try wiring it in many options that there are and this was the only wiring that i could do to make it turn on and blink.

I could try it again. thanks.

are the side markers just a power and ground wire? i would simply just wire it into the power to the corner lights. im kind of thinking though the blinkers have a separate power wire for the physical blinking instead of the light just being on. if im thinking correctly you could just splice both the power wires for the blinker then it would only get power the same time as the corner light. id assume they would blink at the same time then right?

Oh, so you want it to light up at night, and then blink the same with the signal all the time?

Not possible without advanced circuitry lol. I've done this on my car, but with LEDs.

I'd say just leave it. It works, after all, and this is how many OEM cars operate their corner lights in conjunction with the signal.

Oh really??? Well thats what i thought so too that you need to go in advance on the wirings to make it blink at the same time w/ the corner lights.

I do have it light up and blink but all i want is to blink at the same time so since i cant then i guess i can just leave it as is.
Thanks for everyone's help.

yeah, leave it as is, it works just fine that way and you don't have to worry about anything.
