License Plate Mounting (USA, Euro)

So, I just had a friend get me a custom license plate from Germany, and i'm stuck about what i want to do with it. I live in New Hampshire, and we are required to display a front and rear plate. I thought about just putting it in the window, but i'd really like to mount it somewhere on the bumpers, preferably on the front. I tried a few spots but none seemed to work really well. I am curious if anyone has any ideas or interesting places to mount the plate? IT is currently sitting in the back window as seen in the pictures. hmmmm...

Mounting the plates behind the windscreen (like the photo you posted) would work, but be sure to check whether or not it's legal where you live. Here in New Zealand it's illegal to have the license plate mounted anywhere other than on the front/rear bumpers, not sure about the laws in your state/country though. The only other way to mount it would be to place it slightly on the side of each bumper, but that means that you have to drill holes in the plastic. A lot of people mount them slightly off-center on the front bumpers due to front-mounted intercoolers etc. And some people just do it for looks, like this Honda for example:
