Replacing Shocks/Struts

Was wondering if it is an easy DIY job to replace them. I only need to replace the front ones, as the back are still fine, the front is worn and very weak.
Thought i'd do it this spring since i got new summer wheels and tires =).

Does anyone know if there is a guide here that shows step by step how to replace it? (the search function doesnt seem to work?) If not, can someone try to write a short and sweet one up for me?
