Anyone want to swap tach instrument clusters?

I bought one from ebay that was listed as coming off a 1999. My car is a 1999, and I am getting all the symptoms of a wrong year cluster from the 01-02. Does anyone happen to have the reverse situation? I would love to just switch this one out for the right one.
If someone happens to have a 01-02 car with the 98-2000 cluster w/ tach, and needs the 01-02 cluster, let me know! It's probably going to be a giant pain in the ass to get money back from ebay, so it would be really nice if someone needed to trade to get the right one.

Otherwise, would the best idea be to swap the printed circuit board from the correct year? Looking on Toyota OEM parts diagrams, the cases and everything are the same part number, but the circuit boards are different. Seems like it might be easy enough to swap that part...
