You think that's OCD, you should see my other car
But I just include it as a part of the oil change job. I do my own oil changes, so while the oil drains, I take out the K&N and clean it off. Then I clean the MAF, shake it dry, then reinstall it. Fill the oil and I'm good. While the K&N dries, I use a regular paper air filter for a day, then switch back to the K&N whenever it's convenient in the next day or two.
