dont put huge rims on a corolla. looks bad imo. however, if you must, i've seen up to 20". maybe bigger.
as for struts, KYB-GR2s and Tokico Blues are pretty popular.
and for springs, Tein S-Techs, H-Tech, dropzones although there are others.
There are quite a few threads here that discuss suspension options. check out this page:

Big wheels + pot holes = bad times

Whatever floats your boat for styling. Lip kit would be more cleaner.

Don't get dropzone.

Ground controls + Koni Yellow inserts.

sounds promising but i dont want to drop the rolla just for the simple fact that it is low as it is, however, with the body kit i want put on it, i think it would be too low, so im looking for something to give it a little height, but not too much

with the lip kit and lowering springs, its hard to get up some driveways but after a while you learn how to angle the car up the steeper inclines to clear it.
there are some places I cant get my car to clear, but it hasnt been as bad as I though it would be.
Also, not sure if you were talking about my car a bit higher up in the thread, but if you were, thank you.
A lip kit looks cleaner as phatroyale suggested. considering my kit is fiberglass, it has held up remarkably well in the 5 boroughs...
if you are worried about scraping, just drop the car, get the "S" sideskirts and call it a day. sometimes less is more.

WELL I HAVE SEEN PICTURES OF YOUR CAR IN THE SNOW AND IT INSPIRED ME LOL. MY DRIVEWAY IS KIND OF STEEP AND MY MUFFLERS SCRAPE WHEN I HAVE 2 EXTRA PEOPLE IN THE CAR SO THATS PART OF THE REASON, BUT MY CAR'S SHOCKS AND STRUTS ARE WORN OFF PRETTY BAD AND IT LOOKS AS IF I HAVE LOWERED MY CAR A BIT PLUS MY FRIEND HAS HOTCHKIS SWAY BARS ON HIS ROLLA AND IT SCRAPES GOING OVER THOSE DAMN SPEED BUMPS TOO. ANYWAY THANKS FOR THE HELP. WHERE DID YOU GET YOUR LIP KIT? I WAS PLANNING ON GETTING THE GSR LIP KIT FROM EBAY, BUT I ALSO SEEN SOME ABS PLASTIC ONES WHICH LOOK CONVINCING, IF I DO GET THE LIP KIT, ILL ADD SOME SPLITTERS AND THATS ALL.. BY THE WAY, WHERE DID YOU INSTALL YOUR LIP KIT AND HOW MUCH IT COST? I WANT TO GET IT DONE RIGHT

The largest RIM you can go with is 18" if you dont want it to mess with your speedometer reading. However, you could re calibrate your speedometer for it to match. Even with 18" you would need super low profiles (35). I'd say dont go over 17" as its over kill and it wont even look good. 16" recommended, 17" if you must.

I wouldn't go larger than 16s if the roads are bad in your area.

If you have 17s or larger with super-low profile tires, you can kiss your wheels goodbye once you hit a pothole.

awesome, thanks! dude, i dont even let people ride in the backseat lol. my cars a two-seater now because of the rubbing even with the fenders rolled....oh wow, so the sway bars really cause it to scrape. Yikes, I was thinking of getting a set eventually. will probably still do it though, suspension too soft.
I got my lip kit from ebay, its still up there, I believe its the Gtec one. I got it painted at a local body shop (~$400) and installed it myself. But i wouldn't recommend installing it yourself unless you want a headache. fiberglass is a total PIA and my kit is definitely an imperfect installation since I never had installed a kit, but unless you look at it closely, it looks just fine.

I don't understand how the sway bars can scrape since they are mounted almost flush with the undercarriage of the car and high up out of the way.
