Hi Corolla fans,

I have a '98 Corolla VE. My glove box on the passenger side under the dash board will not open. The latch moves but door will not open.

Can anyone help?

Maybe something shifted inside and jamming the glovebox from the inside or the latch could just be "gummed up". Try pounding on glovebox as you are pulling on the latch - sometimes that is enough to jostle the contents and/or loosen up the latch mechanism enough for the box to drop open.

Did you ever get it open? Mine is stuck also and my wife's wallet is in there - no allowance for me!
