hey guys. so when i bought my '99 corolla, I noticed that it had on aftermarket 15" alloy rims rather than hubcaps, and i was happy. i noticed all the rims were missing the center caps, but didn't pay much attention to it. i went to fix one of my rims 'cause it got dented, and the mechanic tells me it's a honda rim...and true enough, on the inside it said "Honda Motors"...no wonder the previous owner took out the center caps!
can I get toyota-branded, or plain, center caps to match the rims? i dont know the model of the rims, but they are Honda Motors and 15"...here's the only picture i have of the car online with a crappy view of the rims:
while I'm at it...any way to tell the trim of the car? I know it's a 1999 Toyota Corolla, but since the back was shaved by the previous owner, I still haven't figured out if its CE, LE, or VE (i'm assuming LE).
If you have power windows, power locks, cruise control and side strip and side mirrors match the colour of the body, its usually LE. although these features can be added on to the VE as well...
99% (im guessing) of CE have roll down windows and black side mirrors. Not sure about the VE.
Why not check your VIN with the toyota dealer and ask?
yeah the car is dropped on DropZone springs I believe. has a very loud muffler, sound system, hids, new paint, tints, etc. I essentially got a hooked-up used car for a good price 'cause the kid wanted a stick shift
my question regarding the center caps was more along the lines of how do i know which one will fit my rims?
not sure, im only on this forum and only after buying the car. the guy i bought it from was young, looked 19 at the most, and was into modding his car evidently, so could be him...
Honda wheels didn't fit my Corolla. Are there spacers or adapters that connect the Civic wheels?
as far as i noticed when i got my tires changed, my rim repaired, and the car aligned, it looked like the rims went on without any spacers or any problems. i think it's a nice fit

Quicker is to look at the certification label on driver door frame. There is a line that says ZZE110L-xxxXxx. The xxxxxx is the model code. The 4th letter will tell you if it's VE or CE or LE:
R - VE
D - CE
N - LE
