Need Ideas On Setting Up Engine For Turbo
Well My Friend Just Opened His Shop (yes!) And He Told Me He Is Willing To Help Me Out Boosting My Car. I'd Like To Know What I Can Do To Set Up My Engine To Be Ready For This Power? Forged Pistons, Pulleys, Pipes Anything? By The Way, My Car Has 139,xxx Miles On It, Should I Buy A New Engine Or Just Keep This One? Engine Gives Me No Problems But THE WHOLE PO 441 AND PO446 EMISSION PROBLEMS AND PURGE VALVE PAIN IN THE ASS AND SHES A LITTLE OLD LADY... Ehh... But Since ILL Be Changing The Pistons And Stuff SO DOES IT EVEN MAKE SENSE GETTING A NEW ENGINE? i was told that the replacement of the pistons and connecting rods with aftermarket forged types and ball peening the crankshaft can get me to recieve the hourse power i want with just the stock engine. basically i want to know where i can get this for cheap or reasonable pricing and all in one shot.
So Far What I Have On My Car Is:
Hotchkis Sway Bars
Tokico Blues
Front Drilled Rotors And Hardex Pads
Weapon R Sri With Ram Kit Directed To The Front
Front Strut Bar
Dunlop Tires All Weather (i Live In Ny)
Dual Honda Civic Si Exhaust With Brand New Cat
Race Pedals With Trd Oil Cap
Orange Tinted Corner Lights With Eye Lids And Hids

Magnecor Spark Plug Wires
Ngk Iridium Ix Spark Plugs
Im Planning To Install:
Thermo Tec Heat Wrap On All My Exhaust

Any Specific Brand For Turbo? Otherwise I Have No Choice But To Look On Ebay Lol
