Drum upgrade for 01? Aftermarket? AND/OR..how best to paint drums to stop rusting?

Ok, I don't quite think I'm willing to change my 01 Corolla rear drum to disc as I'm not keen on the modding of 5 bolt hole rotors to 4 bolts. Even if there was a 4 bolt rotor that would fit, I'm not sure it's the mod for me due to time and cost. So....

I'm just realizing that when my new alloy rims arrive, they are going to go onto the rear wheels and show off my nicely rusted rear drum brakes. I had the brakes done last spring and while I replaced the front rotors, the drums were ok enough to keep. I could simply get a set of new drums for the rear, and try and paint them well enough to reduce future rusting, but, instead, I wonder if there anything else out there to consider?

Whatever Drums I get, what is the best way to paint them to reduce rusting?

thanks,

use black caliper paint and clean the drums to bare shiny metal.

Thanks, that's a simple enough way to go. I guess black would look better than a silver paint because no matter what silver you used, it would not match alloy rims or car (my car is silver).
