P0300 & P0302 Codes - need your input

My 99 Corolla CE developed a misfire coming home a few weeks ago after work. The engine light came on, and blinks when I'm driving. I went to AutoZone and they read me the codes: P0300 & P0302
I believe it's misfire specific to cylinder #2.

I have checked the following:

air filter - OK
spark plug - swapped and changed - OK
ignition wire #2 - checked resistance per Toyo service manual - OK
DIS module #2 - checked resistance per Toyo service manual - OK
I did an ignition check with above parts, and have confirmation that above parts are working as they should.

compression test #2 cylinder - did this a few times and I'm holding pressure - no air leaks from what I've seen; depending how long I crank it I get incremental pressure range from 170-210 PSI, similar reading to #1 cylinder.

I need to know what else should I check to find the cause of this miss-fire.
Here's some other info possibly of relevance:

- 48k miles on engine
- engine vibrates more during idle then smooths out at 30+Mph and above 2k RPM when driving
- #2 spark plug looks a little oily-wet compared to others
- no oil flooding in the #2 cylinder
- sometimes no difference heard if I unplug #2 injector while idling; but I leave it plugged because I get excessive engine vibrations running on 3 cylinders only.
- exhaust sounds off-beat and faint poping

I'm thinking of checking the following, but need help from experienced people:

- fuel injector - how to check if it's bad or clogged?
- cam valves or timing - can this cause my problem?
- DIS module - is delaying ignition possibly?
- anything else you can recommend I look into?

For the injector, you could swap it to another cyl. and see if the misfire moves with it.

HAd another thought...

You could also try cleaning the MAF sensor. My wife's Camry had a similar issue and cleaning the MAF sensor cleared it up.
