who has 0-60 videos?

Kind of hard to drive with one hand but i got it lol. My clutch doesn't grab that well. Mods are just custom cai and a flowmaster muffler. tires are yokohoma avids 195/60/14's...10 times better than my 175's were, the 175's would kind of roll on themselves.

nice effort, but I can't really see the speedometer hit 60, let alone, when "0" starts

so is it about 9-10 seconds?

i dont like the idea of the 4.5 final drive. MWR said they could put in a 3.72 final for boosted applications but there isnt a "want" for it. i'd just want it for economy

ok to debunk your theory car is idiling and i came off the brake pedal (which you can clearly hear in the first few seconds of the vid.) it was however 58-59mph. i did run out off room.(good enough for me)

ive had the trans in for a year and a half now. my mpg is still better than it was with the 3 speed auto. right about 35mph average. most of the time it stays below 3k unless i get on the highway, which i do drive every day. i personally like the feel of the 4.5 final. i barely touch the gas to pass on the highways. the real fun comes when it WOT. it pulls hard as fuck. but i dont think its for everyone. now with a 3.9 final or even a 4.3 it would be perfectly suited to a stock 1zz. IIRC the c60 came in the european celica gt's with the 3.9 so it would be a good match.

a stock c60 with a 3.9 final would cruise in 6th at 55mph around 2100rpm. sounds like pretty good for fuel economy to me. with the 4.5 its 2454rpm.

here see for your self. use this nice little gear calculator, http://efi.moonwell.com/gears.php

and heres the gear ratios for a usdm c60
1st: 3.166
2nd: 2.050
3rd: 1.481
4th: 1.166
5th: 0.916
6th: 0.725
Final Drive: 4.529

your on your own for tire size. but its nice to have to plan out for things like trans swaps.

if i was gonna get the trans swap i'd get the 3.9. i'd could still have some performance and gas mileage as well. but i'd also want to get a newer 1zz with a higher redline to make better use of the 6spd.

just need a vvti 1zz conversion... like im doing. ive got almost everything. and an ecu from a celica gt. yeah 6700 rev limit, which will be swapped out later for a power fc when the high comp engine is ready.

I would definitely like to see how that 6 speed is with the lower gearing does. What do you think your 0-60 time will be, Milky?

usually around 8 seconds flat. was tested a year ago right after i did the swap. my worst was 8.2 spinning bad in 1st and 2nd. light spin in 3rd. these were done on a friends gtech, and i was launching the car, but i didnt have some of the mods i do now. and i didnt spray on it either. infact i have the kit installed but have never need to use it. but the corolla will be getting parked in the next week due to its problems. the trans in it now had 130k on it when i got it. put about 30 on it since. i have bad syncros in 3rd and 6th. so its getting replaced with a modifed trans. plus the engine is buring oil pretty bad now so im going to swap it out as well. but just for the shits and giggles heres some pics :

theres alot more that i have stock piled for my corolla. im kinda rushing to get it done and ready for import alliance this year. but i still have alot left to buy as well.

yup. its getting a rebuild/upgrade to the best of the best oem parts and some not oem.

celica gt pistons & rings
celica gt VVTI head (already have 4k since rebuilt )
mwr rod/main/thrust bearings
arp head studs (have)
OEM celica gt gasket kit
converting to vvti
celica gt ecu (temp till i get a power fc)
mwr lightened flywheel
act xtss clutch kit (have)

im still toying around with putting in 11:1 pistons and sleeving the block so i can go to an 82mm bore. i want it over built because it will be getting the nitrous upped to a 100 - 150 shot via direct port. but i need it running again asap because i want to take the corolla to import alliance in july, and leave the miata at home. so the full out build will prolly wait till the fall or winter.
