Time for subwoofers, Few questions.

Not any newb questions, I am very knowledgeable with car audio actually. In my tahoe i had a killer system that slammed. Now, im wondering if i do something small like two 10's and a 600 watt amp, Do you guys notice a serious impact on your cold morning starts after installing a system? Do you notice rougher starts? I know that little alternator in this car cant handle much, This is why i ask.

i have 2 10 500w rms alpine type r and 1000w rms mb quart amp with 1 farad cap. I don't have any problem on mine. As long as you supply the right gauge wire and have a capacitor, you should be ok.

i had 2 pioneer 1200watt subs 800rms running on a 1200watt hifonics amp with 4gauge wire, with a redtop battery and a stock alternator the only thing i noticed was if i had it really cranked up it would dim the headlights, but a simple powercap would have solved that. never had problems starting the car but my alternator was on its way to dying so the battery would die after 5 minutes of having the system on with the car off. once i put a new alternator in i could leave the system blasting for 2 hours and it would still turn over like nothing
