fast left turn signal

I have an '01 Corolla and they left turn signal started blinking very fast and after a while it just doesn't work anymore. If I use the lane shift mode (slight push down, not to the click) it works fine so i am thinking it's not the bulbs as they all light and work. Does anyone have any advice and where would I find the blinker relay?
Thanks!

Normally when the turn indicator is flashing fast it's a sign that you need a new bulb. My 99 Corolla is the same way. When My right turn indicator was going fast I had to get a new bulb for it.

Try turning your indicator on left, then walk to the front and back of your car to check the lights and see where the problem is. You can also turn on your 4 way flashers and do the same (Walk to the front and back of your car).

I just tried that and all bulbs seem to be working fine. BTW, I also found the flasher relay do disregard that question.

Sounds like a faulty multifunction switch to me. I had a similar problem with a 97 Jeep TJ...a firm "impact adjustment" to the steering column would temporarily "fix" it.
