Autolite Iridium plugs okay for 01 Corolla?

Hi there,

I am usually not big on brand, but saw a post saying that certain brands of spark plugs are recommended for the Corolla. I have Autolite Iridium spark plugs (it is what the auto shop had).. are they okay?

William

So long as its Iridium, I dont see why it wouldn't work.

Nothing wrong with different branded plugs, but do a search and you'll find that most people here prefer Denso or NGK plugs.

I tried the Bosch but the engine didn't run as smoothly as it did with the OEM recommended plugs. It's odd because the OEM's are cheaper, so you'd expect just the opposite, but some engines can be picky about which plugs they like. I figure it's always best to stick with the OEM recommendation even though you may have to change them a little more frequently.
